 Mechanism of action:- Propranolol blocks β1 receptors in the heart, reducing heart rate and cardiac output, thereby lowering blood pressure and oxygen demand.
It also blocks β2 receptors in the lungs and skeletal muscle, helping control physical symptoms of anxiety (like tremors and palpitations).
