Noten Fx is a combination of psychotropic formulation designed for the short-term and long-term management of anxiety and depressive disorders. It synergistically combines both Alprazolam, a fast-acting benzodiazepine for immediate relief of anxiety, with Fluoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) for sustained control of depression and anxiety symptoms.

Mechanism of action:- 

Alprazolam (0.25 mg):

• A short-acting benzodiazepine that binds to the GABA-A receptor which enhances the effect of GABA and the primary inhibitory neurotransmitter in the CNS.
• Produces anxiolytic, sedative, muscle relaxant, and anticonvulsant effects.

Fluoxetine Hydrochloride (20 mg):

• A Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor (SSRI) that increases the levels of serotonin in the synaptic cleft by inhibiting its reuptake at presynaptic terminals.
• Results in mood elevation, reduced anxiety, and improvement in obsessive and compulsive symptoms over time.

Indication:-relieve symptoms of anxiety, including anxiety caused by depression. It is also used to treat panic disorder in some patients.
