Product description:- Nuzep-T is a scientifically balanced combination of Trifluoperazine, a typical antipsychotic, and Chlordiazepoxide, a long-acting benzodiazepine. It offers dual-action control for patients experiencing anxiety with psychomotor agitation and mild psychotic symptoms, or neurotic depression with somatic complaints.

Mechanism of Action:-

Trifluoperazine blocks dopamine D-2 receptors, reducing delusions, irritability, and restlessness.

Chlordiazepoxide enhances GABA receptors activity, provides  calming, anxiolytic effect, and muscle-relaxing effects.

Indication:- Schizophrenia, anxiety and to control agitation caused by alcohol withdrawal.

Common side effects:-

• Drowsiness, dizziness

• Dry mouth and mild constipation

• Blurred vision

• Rare extrapyramidal symptoms
