RISPERIDONE AND TRIHEXYPHENIDYL TABLETS

Product Description:- Trudon is a powerful fixed-dose combination of Risperidone, a broad-spectrum atypical antipsychotic, and Trihexyphenidyl, an anticholinergic agent. This combination ensures effective control of psychotic symptoms.

Mechanism of Action:-

• Risperidone: Blocks dopamine D2 and serotonin 5-HT2A receptors → treats hallucinations, delusions, agitation

• Trihexyphenidyl: Balances dopamine-cholinergic activity → prevents tremors, rigidity & dystonia

• Together: Effective symptom control + EPS protection

Indication:- Schizophrenia, anxiety and to control agitation social anxity.

Common side effects

• Sedation or drowsiness

• Mild weight gain

• Dry mouth or blurred vision (due to Trihexyphenidyl)

• Occasional dizziness or constipation
