Product Description:- Trudon is a powerful fixed-dose combination of Risperidone, a broad-spectrum atypical antipsychotic, and Trihexyphenidyl, an anticholinergic agent. This combination ensures effective control of psychotic symptoms.
Mechanism of Action:-
- Risperidone: Blocks dopamine D2 and serotonin 5-HT2A receptors → treats hallucinations, delusions, agitation
- Trihexyphenidyl: Balances dopamine-cholinergic activity → prevents tremors, rigidity & dystonia
- Together: Effective symptom control + EPS protection
Indication:- Schizophrenia, anxiety and to control agitation social anxity.
Common side effects
- Sedation or drowsiness
- Mild weight gain
- Dry mouth or blurred vision (due to Trihexyphenidyl)
- Occasional dizziness or constipation
