Product description:- This dual-action formulation combines once-R containing Ranitidine, a potent gastric acid suppressant, with Ondansetron, a powerful antiemetic. It offers comprehensive relief in conditions where gastric hyperacidity and nausea/vomiting coexist, such as gastritis, GERD with nausea, chemotherapy-related GI upset, or post-operative recovery.
Mechanism of Action:-
Ranitidine blocks H2 receptors in the stomach which reduces gastric acid secretion, and neutralizes them at equal intervals of time.
Ondansetron blocks 5-HT3 serotonin receptors in the gut and brain which regulations the cerebral fluid which is res[ponsible for controlling nausea and vomiting.
Indication:- Postoperative nausea and vomiting, psychotic medication hangover, gastroesophageal reflux response, indigestion, heartburn, acid reflux.
Common Side Effects :-
- Headache, mild dizziness
- Constipation or diarrhea
- Rare: Fatigue, dry mouth
