Product Description:- Psymenta contains Memantine HCl 10 mg, an effective NMDA receptor antagonist used in moderate to severe Alzheimer’s disease to improve cognitive function and daily living activities.
Mechanism of Action:-
- Blocks NMDA receptors, preventing excessive glutamate activity.
- Reduces excitotoxicity, protecting neurons from damage.
- Enhances memory, attention, and learning ability.
Indication:-Cognitive impairment, severe to moderate Alzhimer’s disease, memory improvement, better daily functioning and independence,disorientation and irritability.
Common side effects:-
- Dizziness, headache
- Constipation
- Confusion or hallucinations
