Product description:- Elpram 5 contains Escitalopram, a well-known antidepressant from the SSRI (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitor) class. It is used to treat depression, anxiety disorders, and related emotional imbalances by improving mood and mental well-being.
Mechanism of action:- It inhibit NET and SERT which mediate active reuptake of biogenic amines NA and 5-HT into their respective neurones and thus potentiate them by increasing their availability in the synaptic cleft. medicines work by increasing the activity of the chemical serotonin in the brain.
Indication:- Anxiety , Depression, restore the balance of a certain natural substance (serotonin) in the brain. Panic Disorder,Social Anxiety Disorder,Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) ( sometimes).
Common side effects:-

- Drowsiness or trouble sleeping
- Dry mouth
- Increased sweating
Storage:- store in cool and dry place away from direct sunlight, store it in temperature below 28°C, keep out of reach of children.
