Escitalopram Oxalate and Clonazepam Tablets

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:- Escitalopram is used to treat depression and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). It is an antidepressant that belongs to a group of medicines known as selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs). Clonazepam is a benzodiazepine drug used for the acute treatment of panic disorder, epilepsy, and nonconvulsive States. Restlessness.

INDICATION:-

• Major Depressive Disorder (MDD) ,
• Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)
• Panic Disorder with or without agoraphobia
• Social Anxiety Disorder (Social Phobia)
• Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
• Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
• Seizure Disorders
• Panic Disorder .

Mechanism of Action:- Escitalopram, like other selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, enhances serotonergic activity by binding to the orthosteric (i.e. primary) binding site on the serotonin transporter (SERT), the same site to which endogenous 5-HT binds, and thus prevents the reuptake of serotonin into the presynaptic neuron

Side Effects:- 

• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Feeling sick
• Dry mouth
• Sweating alot
• Insomnia
• Sometimes feeling sleepy alot

Storage:-

• Keep it at a room temperature, not exceeding 25-28°C.
• Keep out of reach of children
• Keep it away from moisture and direct sunlight.
