Product description:- OZA 50/ 100 mg tablets contain Clozapine 50 mg/100 mg it is a unique atypical antipsychotic drug which is specially indicated for treatment- of resistant schizophrenia. It is often reserved for patients who do not respond to or cannot tolerate other antipsychotic therapies.
Clozapine offers superior efficacy in managing both positive and negative symptoms of schizophrenia, with a lower risk of extra pyramidal side effects (EPS).
Mechanism of Action:- Clozapine works by blocking dopamine and serotonin 5-HT2A receptors, along with multiple other neurotransmitter pathways which also include noradrenergic, cholinergic, and histaminergic systems.

Indication:- Itz 2nd generation Antipsychotic drug for resistance of schizophrenia , and suicidal risk factors in schizopherenic patients.
Common side effects:-
- Sedation with weight gain
- Hypersalivation, constipation
- Agranulocytosis/granulocytopenia.
- Seizures at higher doses
