Oxcarbazepine Tablets

Product Description:- Psycarb is a second-generation antiepileptic medication, formulated in sustained release (SR) form for prolonged seizure control and better patient compliance. It is highly effective with a favourable safety profile.

Mechanism of Action:-

Oxcarbazepine is converted to its active metabolite (MHD), which blocks voltage-sensitive sodium channels, stabilising hyper excited neuronal membranes and preventing seizure spread.

Indication:- Epilepsy and Seizures.

Common Side Effects:-

• Drowsiness or dizziness

• Headache

• Nausea

• Low sodium levels

Storage:- Store in a cool, dry place below 25°C, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
