Product description:-  This combination of Pregabalin and Nortriptyline is used to treat neuropathic pain — chronic pain caused by damaged nerves. It helps relieve symptoms like burning, shooting pain, tingling, and numbness, often seen in conditions like diabetic neuropathy, sciatica, postherpetic neuralgia, and fibromyalgia.
Mechanism of action:-Â
Pregabalin works by reducing the release of a chemical (neurotransmitter) in the brain responsible for the sensation of pain.Reduces calcium influx into nerve terminals, thereby decreasing the release of several excitatory neurotransmitters such as glutamate, substance P, and norepinephrine. Nortriptyline works by Inhibits the reuptake of norepinephrine and serotonin at nerve terminals acting on the release of certain chemicals and electrical activity in the brain.Also exhibits anticholinergic and sedative properties, contributing to improved sleep and anxiety relief in patients with chronic pain
