Product Description:– O-pine F combines Olanzapine, a potent atypical antipsychotic, with Fluoxetine, a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), providing a synergistic approach for treatment-resistant depression and bipolar depression.
Mechanism of Action:- Olanzapine: Blocks dopamine D2 and serotonin 5-HT2 receptors, controlling psychotic and mood symptoms, whereas Fluoxetine: Increases serotonin levels in the brain, enhancing mood and reducing depressive symptoms.
Together, they effectively manage major depressive episodes associated with bipolar disorder and treatment-resistant depression.
