CHLORDIAZEPOXIDE TABLETS

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:-  It is preferred in chronic anxiety states. Chlordiazepoxide is often combined with other drugs in psychosomatic disorders, and has been the commonest BZD used to cover alcohol withdrawal.

Indication:- Severe Anxiety and Alcohol withdrawal symptoms

Mechanism of action :- NEUZEP 10/20 binds to benzodiazepine receptors at the gamma-aminobutyric acid type A (GABA-A) ligand-gated chloride channel complex and enhances GABA’s inhibitory effects. It is an FDA-approved medication used for treating mild-to-severe anxiety disorder, preoperative apprehension and anxiety, and withdrawal symptoms of acute alcohol use disorder in adults

Common Side effects:-

• dry mouth
• upset stomach.

Keep it out of reach of children, Store it at room temperature not exceeding 28°C, store in moisture free zone.
