Amitriptyline Hydrochloride and Methylcobalamin SR Tablets

Product Description:– Psycomer M is a synergistic neuroprotective and neuromodulatory formulation designed for the effective management of neuropathic pain and neuropsychiatric symptoms. It combines the nerve-regenerating action of Methylcobalamin with the centrally acting analgesic and antidepressant effects of Amitriptyline.

Mechanism of action:- Mecobalamin as a coenzyme of methionine synthetase,supports nerve regeneration, myelin sheath repair, and DNA synthesis in damaged neurons. mecobalamin plays an important role in transmethylation in the synthesis of methionine from homocysteine .

Amitriptyline Amitriptyline acts as a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA), inhibiting the reuptake of serotonin and norepinephrine, modulating pain perception and mood.

Indication:- Depression , neuropathic pain due to damaged nerves. Neuropathic pain is pain caused by a lesion or disease of the somatosensory nervous system.

Common side effects:- Drowsiness or sedation, Dizziness or lightheadedness, Dry mouth, Constipation, Blurred vision, Weight gain, Mild gastrointestinal upset (nausea, bloating), Headache (rare), Allergic reactions.
