Product description:-  Noten is a combination of two drugs: alprazolam (benzodiazepine) and propranolol (beta blocker). Alprazolam increases the activity of the chemical transmitter GABA. It helps prevent excessive and abnormal activity of neurons in the brain. Propranolol blocks the action of certain chemical messengers in the heart and blood vessels, reducing heart rate and blood pressure.This combination provides both psychological relief (via Alprazolam) and physical symptom control (via Propranolol), making it especially effective in performance anxiety, panic attacks, and generalized anxiety disorders.

Indication:-

• Anxiety,
• Panic disorder
• GAD generalized anxiety disorder

Mechanism of action:-

• Alprazolam enhances GABA-A receptor activity in the brain, producing a calming, anxiolytic effect.
• Propranolol antagonizes beta-1 and beta-2 adrenergic receptors, reducing adrenergic symptoms like palpitations, sweating, and tremors.

Dosage and administration:- 

• This combination medicine is generally recommended for adults aged above 18 years of age.
