Product Description:-Amitriptyline Hydrochloride is a tricyclic antidepressant (TCA) used primarily to treat depression and chronic pain conditions. It is known for its sedative and analgesic properties.

Mechanism of Action:– Amitriptyline works by inhibiting the reuptake of norepinephrine and serotonin in the central nervous system, thereby increasing their availability at synaptic clefts. This enhances mood and alters pain perception.

Indication :- Anxiety, Depression , neuropathic pain due to damaged nerves. Neuropathic pain is pain caused by a lesion or disease of the somatosensory nervous system.

Common side effects:-

• Effective in chronic neuropathic and musculoskeletal pain.
• Improves sleep quality in patients with comorbid insomnia.
