ETIZOLAM AND PROPRANOLOL HYDROCHLORIDE TABLETS

Product description:- ETIOZ-PR This combination medication contains:

• Etizolam, a thienodiazepine derivative with anxiolytic, sedative, and muscle relaxant properties. Structurally it is related to benzodiazepines and acts by enhancing GABAergic neurotransmission.
• Propranolol, a non-selective beta-adrenergic blocker, primarily it is used to control symptoms of anxiety (tachycardia, palpitations, and tremors) by reducing sympathetic nervous system activity.

Indication :-

• Panic disorder
• Social anxiety
• Performance anxiety (stage fright)
• Somatic symptoms of anxiety (e.g., palpitations, tremors)

Mechanism of action:-

Etioz-PR ,Etizolam and Propranolol work in a combination of two medications: Etizolam is a benzodiazepine that enhances the action of GABA, a chemical messenger that inhibits abnormal and excessive activity of nerve cells in the brain.

Propranolol is a beta blocker that prevents the action of certain chemical messengers on the heart and blood vessels. This results in a reduction of heart rate, blood pressure, and strain on the heart.

Dosage and Administration:

• Usual adult dose: One tablet once or twice daily, or as directed by a physician.
• Dose may vary depending on clinical condition, patient tolerance, and therapeutic response.
